Melon, Avocado & Prosciutto Salad

  • 1 medium cantaloupe, deseeded
  • 1 small seedless watermelon
  • 1 avocado, sliced into small cubes
  • ¼ pound DI LUSSO® Prosciutto, sliced ultra-thin (at the deli counter) and cut in half lengthwise
  • ¼ pound DI LUSSO® Mozzarella, sliced ¼ inch thick (at the deli counter) and cut into small cubes
  • 1-2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped

White Balsamic Vinaigrette

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 ½ tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons white balsamic vinegar or white wine vinegar
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


Mix ingredients for vinaigrette. Set aside.

Use a melon baller to scoop out cantaloupe and watermelon. Place in a bowl with avocado, prosciutto and mozzarella.

Drizzle with vinaigrette. Right before serving, sprinkle with freshly chopped basil.
