Hot Ham and Swiss Cheese Sandwiches

  • 6 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons grated onion
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seed
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 4 French brioche hamburger buns, sliced
  • 8 slices DI LUSSO® Swiss Cheese
  • 1/2 pound DI LUSSO® Black Forest Ham, thinly sliced
  • 4 individual foil sheets (12x14 inches)


Heat oven to 325°F. In small bowl, combine butter, onion, poppy seed and mustard. Spread tops and bottoms of buns with butter mixture. Layer bottom half of bun with 1 slice of cheese, 1/4 ham and 1 slice of cheese. Top with bun. Wrap each sandwich in sheet of foil. Place on baking sheet. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until cheese is melted.
