Ingredients:

  • 1 (1-pound) loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced onion
  • 1/2 cup shredded Fontina cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh oregano or 2 teaspoons dried oregano leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 3 1/2 ounces DI LUSSO® Genoa Salami, chopped

Procedure:

  1. Heat oven to 400°F. Grease 12-inch pizza pan; sprinkle generously with cornmeal.
  2. Divide bread dough in half. Pat or roll half of dough into pizza pan.
  3. In bowl, combine remaining ingredients; mix well. Top dough with meat mixture, leaving 1/2-inch border around edge.
  4. Roll or pat remaining half of bread dough into 12-inch circle; place over meat mixture. Brush top with oil. Cut slit in center to let steam escape.
  5. Bake pizza 15 minutes or until golden brown and puffy. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
